WebI recently bought a St Croix 8' 4wt that Cabelas had on sale, got a Ross Flystart reel to go with it. The reel comes preloaded with backing and 4wt WF fly line. I am going to use this rod for small stream/brookie fishin and have read that DT is more suited for these applications. The 4 wt line feels a bit light for the roll casts and short overhead casts I typically use, but the 5 wt line loads the rod well in these situations.
